It’s a non mover in Erdington!

After strong negotiations Alps Group have successfully concluded a rent review at a nil increase acting for the tenant Baxi Heating at their 103,000 sq ft assembly facility in Erdington, Birmingham.  Tom Houghton was the rent review surveyor dealing the matter and commented ‘in the current market it's very important to keep on top of costs and mitigate them where best you can.  The market at the moment is incredibly difficult but even harder is finding the transactional evidence to support your claims and it's all too easy to get stung at a rent review if you aren’t careful’.  Tom went on to comment ‘fortunately through thorough research of transactions over the last 2 years we were able to prove there was no justification for any increase and the client was very happy with the result.
