Company Background


Alps Group was launched by Peter Alcock in 2000  following the demerger of the international industrial conglomerate where he was Head of Property and Environmental Affairs.  After 30 years of a predominantly in-house career Peter gained a comprehensive understanding of the property needs of Corporate occupiers and the shortcomings of the services offered to Corporate Groups.

Unlike the experience of many, his included working with industrial and commercial property all over the world – from Sao Paulo to Brisbane; from Trondheim to  Durban and all points in between.

This experience covered the full gamut of the needs of a highly acquisitive industrial group, from a rent review of a 500 sq ft service depot in Britain’s industrial heartland to the project management of a major environmental clean-up of a 1,000,000 sq ft factory on 132 acres in New England.  From being sent to a newly democratised country to find and lease an office, to due diligence on an industrial complex in India.

Peter formed Alps Group to offer this wealth of experience and service to other Corporates; to provide an outsourced Property Department which they could share with other companies and thus save costs.
